The 2017 school year is fast approaching, as the first day of student attendancefor the West Carroll School District is Wednesday, August 16, 2017.To help the children kick off another fantastic school year, the Carroll County Housing Authority is sponsoring a BACK-TO-SCHOOL POOL PARTY. All Carroll County Housing Authority tenants are invited. We hope to see you there!

  DATE: Thursday, August 10, 2017
  TIME:   5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  LOCATION: Savanna Swimming Pool (West Carroll High School, 500 Cragmoor)
  MENU: Sub Sandwiches, Chips, Cookies, Beverage & Popsicles

NOTE: CCHA will be distributing school supplies (and lots of goodies) to all the Carroll Apartments school-aged children that are signed up, and in attendance at the Pool Party. Also, please be advised that all attendees will need to sign a Registration/Liability Waiver & Release Form to participate in the swimming.

Their dedication each and every month to the unloading, organizing, and distributing of the food and miscellaneous items we receive from the River Bend FoodBank is greatly appreciated. In addition, after distribution, our volunteers are always willing to go above and beyond to help with the clean-up, and breaking down of the boxes. Once again, thank you to our volunteers, as our Mest Manor Market success is a direct result of their continued efforts, and contribution of time!!

The Carroll County Housing Authority and River Bend FoodBank teamed up this summer to sponsor a Summer Meals program two days a week (Tuesday & Thursdays) at our Carroll Apartments site during the months of June, and July. These complimentary meals were made available to all local children 18 and under. Throughout the two months, over one-hundred and forty (150+) meals were served to our local youth.
